May 10 postgame notes

-With the loss, Los Angeles fell to 100-131 all-time in the playoffs, a record that includes a home mark of 56-54.

-The Kings fell to 11-28 all-time in Game 4s. When losing Game 4, they have won eight of 27 series.

-Los Angeles has won eight of 12 best of seven series that were tied at two games apiece.

-The Kings allowed zero shots in a period for the first time in playoff history and 14 shots total. The club’s playoff record is 10 shots against, set on April 13, 1974 against Chicago. The only other time the Kings allowed zero shots in a period was April 5, 1978 at St. Louis, which took place during the regular season.

-The last time the Kings were shutout in the playoffs was May 20, 2012 vs. PHX, when Mike Smith led the Phoenix Coyotes to a 2-0 win at Staples Center. The last time the Kings were shutout in 2013-14 was on February 1, when they lost 2-0 at home to Philadelphia.

-Anze Kopitar’s 10-game playoff point streak was snapped. The team’s franchise record playoff point streak is held by Wayne Gretzky, who recorded points in 12 straight games in 1993 (9-16=25).

-Justin Williams played in his 100th career playoff game.

-Ben Lovejoy blocked a game-high six shots.

-Dustin Brown and Jarret Stoll tied with a game-high eight hits.

-Los Angeles attempted 71 shots (28 on net, 25 blocked, 18 missed). Anaheim attempted 36 shots (14 on net, 9 blocked, 13 missed).

-The Kings won 31-of-66 faceoffs. Among regular performers, Mike Richards won 5-of-14, Anze Kopitar won 11-of-21, Trevor Lewis won 3-of-5, Jarret Stoll won 8-of-18 and Jeff Carter on 3-of-6.

The Kings are scheduled to practice at Toyota Sports Center at 11:00 a.m. on Sunday, May 11.
