On the biggest challenge in playing Anaheim:
We’re playing indoors. Because we heard originally the whole series was going to be played at either in the Angels’ stadium or at the Dodgers’. So now we found out today that there’s actually four in Honda and three at Staples, so we’ve got a lot of work to do to get that figured out. [Reporter: It’s a little hot to play outside.] It’s supposed to cool off, though.
On what stood out in the season series against Anaheim:
We played two really good games in their building.
On the key to shutting down Anaheim’s top line:
Hit and hope.
On how the travel is different from the first round series:
Anaheim’s closer than San Jose. You can drive 40 minutes, and the other one, we flew it.
On an extra day before the start of the series and between Games 2 and 3:
We’ve always done that, Jon, when we’ve been in Phoenix, San Jose. It’s an hour flight, and this is a short trip, so you’re way better off, as I’ve said on numerous occasions, you’re way better off in your own facility than the visitors’. It’s not that hard to figure out. I mean, quite honest, what’s the difference between driving to Staples Center or driving to Honda Center from where we all live? No difference. Why wouldn’t we do that after a game or before a game?
