James Sheppard joined LA Kings Insider following San Jose’s morning skate to discuss the team’s mindset and his line’s physical play while providing a Game 7 preview.

While speaking with reporters, Logan Couture admitted that it will be a “nerve-wracking day” and answered questions about how the team got to this point in the series. He also answered a question about close friend Drew Doughty.

Couture, on whether the last two games represent the best he’s seen in Doughty:
I’d say the best I saw Drew play was over in the Olympics this past year. He was the best player, I think, in the world during those two weeks. He’s one of the best in the world, and those two weeks, I think, was his best hockey.
