On how he assesses the Game 3 loss:
Not good enough. I mean at this point, this series, we needed to find a way to win a game, and that didn’t happen so now we’re in a bigger hole and we have to figure it out.
On the Kings’ play in their own zone:
That’s part of the game. Sometimes you’re going to have to play in there and limit their opportunities. I don’t know what the shots were, but we have to get back to how we play.
On how back-to-back penalties in third period affected the outcome:
They have a very good power play, and we had been successful obviously until the tying goal, or whatever goal it was, I can’t remember now. But, we need to find a way to get the job done.
On the mindset heading into Thursday:
Win one game. That’s Thursday, then go from there.
On how tough it was to lose after dominating OT:
It’s playoff hockey, sometimes it works that way. But, it’s irrelevant now
On if the Sharks are playing better than expected:
I’m not surprised with how they’re playing. They’ve been a top team for a long time now actually. We’re just giving them too many opportunities, and when you’re playing a team like that, they’re going to capitalize. That’s our focus going into Game four, eliminating their opportunities.
