April 20 morning skate quotes: Trevor Lewis

On whether he expects a tighter, lower scoring Game 2:
Yeah, I think so. I think we need to clean some things up and not give up so many odd-man rushes. I would definitely expect a little tighter game.

On how the team ideally likes to advance the puck out of its zone:
I think it starts with everyone getting back quick and being on the same page and having that good support everywhere so you have a pass or two to give instead of just chipping it and chasing. If everyone gets back and everyone gets open and supports each other, it should help us a lot.

On whether he expects the surplus physicality of Game 1 to continue throughout the series:
I think emotion is really high in the playoffs. So I think everyone wants to get out there and kind of establish a physical presence. I wouldn’t be surprised if it stayed up to that caliber, but I don’t know.

On the the team’s psyche heading into Game 2:
I think it’s positive. I mean, we’ve got to win one in their building. We’ll come out focused and recharged and clean up the things that we need to clean up and I think we should be good to go.
