Game 2 lineup notes

Well, this page may look a little blank. No changes are expected in San Jose’s lineup, and the Kings’ morning skate was, for the most part optional.

Darryl Sutter earlier said “I don’t think so” when asked whether any changes would be made on defense. When responding to a reporter who made an off-hand comment about the team not making changes, Sutter replied, “Forwards,” though it was unclear in which context that remark was made.

Because the Kings skated at practice for two consecutive days with the same lines and pairings that opened Game 1, expect the same units to be deployed when opening Game 2. For the exact lineup, “Wait for the song,” as Sutter has memorably said.
