On the feeling heading into the final regular season game:
For me personally, it’s an opportunity to fine-tune and get…your mind where it needs to be. We all know, we’ve all been through it, what type of plays you need to make in the playoffs. Some plays, you don’t make them in the regular season, but there is more attention on it when you’re in a seven-game series and it’s a do-or-die-type atmosphere. For me personally, it’s an opportunity tonight to kind of focus in on those little plays that I need to make going forward, that are going to be vital down the stretch.
On preparation for the playoffs:
I think we’re all ready because in a weird way we’ve been waiting for it. But again the physical side of things, we’re playing games, we’re practicing, we’re doing all the normal things. Like I said, it’s more about the mental side of things and getting yourself ready to go because if you’re sleeping early it could cost you a series…You can’t fall behind in a series. Part of our success in the playoffs the last few years has been because we’ve never really fallen behind in any of the games if you really think about it. The games that we get behind, we ended up losing and that’s just how playoffs are because it’s so close.
