Audio: Quick hits with Kevin Westgarth

2012 Stanley Cup champion Kevin Westgarth was traded by the Carolina Hurricanes to the Calgary Flames on December 30 and has been a part of a remarkable second half turnaround. Calgary, 18-11-0 in its last 29 games, has forged a consistent work ethic under Head Coach Bob Hartley and will conclude the season playing its best hockey of the season. With three goals and an assist in his last nine games, Westgarth has been a part of the team’s turnaround while playing a hard-nosed role similar to the one he exhibited in Los Angeles. We touched on these topics, as well as the play of defenseman Mark Giordano and the season series against Los Angeles, in today’s Quick Hits interview.
