Brown en route to Philadelphia

Dustin Brown did not travel with the Kings following yesterday’s win but is currently en route to Philadelphia, Assistant General Manager Rob Blake confirmed Sunday morning.

It was also confirmed that Brown suffered a chest contusion during the second period of Los Angeles’ 4-0 win over the Florida Panthers on Saturday, which was first reported by the Daily News. Brown is scheduled to see a doctor in Philadelphia on Monday morning, and there is no clear indication of whether the Kings’ captain will be available against the Flyers on Monday night.

Los Angeles is scheduled to practice at the Wells Fargo Center at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday.
