On the loss to Toronto:
Well, I think we didn’t played consistently, 60 minutes. It got away from us a little bit. We gave up that shorty there. We just have to play a 60 minute…game.
On Toronto gaining momentum from a late first period power play goal:
We had a lot of penalties. We’ve got to cut it down a little bit. But we just have to grab momentum in those situations. We got up early, two-nothing, but even though we hadn’t played a great first period, the second period got away from us a little bit then. We had some chances, just couldn’t bury a few in. Just got to play 60 minutes.
On whether the line took a step forward:
We had some chemistry. We had some chances. A couple times we had some struggles in the defensive zone, but if we would’ve buried a few of those, it would be a different hockey game.
On his first period goal:
It was a nice play by Willie to Dewey there, and he just made a nice play. It went off their goalie, and it just kind of hit my stick and I think my skate and trickled in.
