On how he sees Marian Gaborik fitting in with the Kings:
I think it takes some time. Obviously he’s a really good player, but where he fits in, we’ll see. You’ve kind of got to just move it around, and see how it works.
On how Gaborik’s skill set fits in with the Kings:
We’re a pretty good skill set group. Hopefully he can play a whole 200-foot game and fit into the way we play, which he will. He’s used to playing around good players, so he will again.
On the keys towards Gaborik’s first day with the club after a late arrival:
I don’t think late nights bother the Los Angeles Kings that much. That shouldn’t be much of an adjustment. We’re used to it. We do it all the time. He played in Minnesota. He played in Columbus, so he’s used to the travel. It’s probably no different than any other player that’s been traded or called up. They have some energy usually.
On tonight’s game:
Well, we’re coming into a tough rink tonight, Jon. I don’t know if you’ve ever been here, but this is a fairly tough building to play in with a lot of energy, and the team feeds off that energy. And they’re a big team, so we should be prepared for that.
