February 26 postgame notes

-With the win, Los Angeles improved to 60-47-12 and 25-29-4 in the all-time series against the Colorado franchise. The Kings are 4-0-1 in the last four meetings between the teams, dating back to February 23, 2013. Los Angeles concluded its regular season series against Colorado with a 2-0-1 record.

-With the win, the Kings improved to 7-9-2 against the Central Division.

-With the win, the Kings improved to 5-13-0 when trailing after one period and 11-3-5 when tied after two periods.

-After scoring 15 goals over their previous 11 games, the Kings scored six goals for the third time in 2013-14, which included goals by Anze Kopitar, Jeff Carter, and Kopitar again over a 6:24 span between the second and third periods.

-The Kings won for the second time this season when allowing four goals. The other game was a 7-4 win over Phoenix on October 23.

-With his assist on Jarret Stoll’s second period goal, Dustin Brown recorded his second road point of the season and first since he scored at Anaheim in a 3-2 shootout win on December 3. He has 15 points 9-6=15 in 29 home games and two points (1-1=2) in 30 road games.

-12 Kings recorded at least one point.

-Robyn Regehr scored for the second consecutive game and recorded a game-best plus-4 rating. He has recorded goals in back-to-back games for the first time this season.

-Jarret Stoll, Anze Kopitar and Ryan O’Reilly finished tied with a game-high four shots.

-Justin Williams, Slava Voynov and Dwight King all recorded plus-3 ratings.

-Ryan O’Reilly recorded a game-high 24:26 of ice time.

-The Kings won 30-of-64 faceoffs (47%). Among regular performers, Mike Richards won 4-of-7, Anze Kopitar won 11-of-23, Jarret Stoll won 10-of-23, Linden Vey won 1-of-4, and Jeff Carter won 3-of-6.
