February 26 postgame quotes: Darryl Sutter

On how the team was able to come from behind to defeat Colorado:
We scored a goal in the first minute of the second period, we scored a goal almost at the end of the second period, we drew a penalty at the end of the second period, we scored on the power play early in the third and we scored in the empty net.

On whether he was “happy” with Los Angeles’ five-on-five play:
When you score five goals on the road, you should win a game. What do you mean, am I happy?

On Martin Jones’ performance:
I thought he battled back. He hadn’t won a game for a couple months, quite honest, and he probably would’ve liked, for sure, two or three back. But he made some big saves in the third to preserve it.

On his assessment of the “kids’” play:
I thought Jones battled back. Got a win. He hadn’t done that for a while.
ED: Darryl may have thought that this was a question about Jones.

On the late penalty kill:
Yeah, it was pretty much just guys with nothing left in the tank just trying to preserve it, right? Hopefully get a puck on stick somewhere. We ended up getting a change in there.
