January 23 postgame quotes: Justin Williams

On the game:
Some good, some bad – we lost the special teams battle again, which is crucial. We got the lead, which was important. We weren’t able to get the next one with the power plays that we had. Didn’t get it done and gave them two easy goals in front of the net. You score one goal, you won’t win very often.

On what the biggest breakdown was in the second period:
I don’t know. They scored two goals in front of the net.

On playing Anaheim again on Saturday:
We should have some fire in our belly and be upset. You have a home-and-home with a team, especially a team that’s in our division that’s at the top of the league right now. Get some fire in your belly and we’ll have that.

On Saturday’s outdoor game:
The Stadium Series is kind of for everyone else. Yeah, it’s cool – but we’re there to win a hockey game. We’re there to play a hockey game regardless of where it is. We’re playing the best team in the league right now and if we have to win it 1-0, we have to win it 1-0. We’re just not getting it done.

On the key to winning Saturday’s game:
I don’t know – a lot more jam.
