Darryl Sutter, on whether he saw everything he needed to see from Jonathan Quick in the process of rehabilitation and game preparedness:
Yeah, we’ll either have three guys on our roster tonight, or [not], that’s clear. So I’m not one way or another on it. I mean, we need a goalie to win a game for us, and they’ve taken turns losing games. So they need to get in the win column.
Sutter, on whether he received any feedback from Quick:
Quite honest, I kind of laugh because it’s the very same thing that Bobby Lou’s saying on the other side. He says, ‘I feel good. I’m ready to go. If they activate me…’ That’s the same thing, right? Both guys are, when you look at it, it’s the very same situation.
Anze Kopitar, on whether there’s any extra significance should Quick return:
No. I mean, nothing special. Obviously, if he does start it’s nice to have him back. But team-wise, we still have to do our own thing and just play the game.
Kopitar, on whether a hypothetical Quick return could provide a spark:
Maybe a little bit, yeah. Certainly we feel comfortable with anybody back there. And like I said, if he does come in, it’d be great for us and nice to have him back.
