December 30 postgame quotes: Darryl Sutter

On the 1-0 loss:
I’m not going to lose any sleep over how we played.

On the effort being there despite the loss:
You know what, if you bear down on your opportunities, you have three or four breakaways. You’ve got to score on ‘em.

On what stuck out about the defensive effort:
I thought we played well.

On making Chicago “work for their real estate” more than in the previous game:
You know what? Both teams’ big guys had pretty good opportunities, if you look at it. At the end of the day, it wasn’t decided by either one of ‘em. Goalies made some saves.

On whether Alec Martinez was a healthy scratch:
Yep.

On what he’d like to take from tonight’s performance into tomorrow’s game:
Same type of performance. Try and score on some of your opportunities. It’s not that hard to figure out.
