On the game:
Definitely not the start that we wanted, it’s hard when you play catch up. Especially three goals, it’s quite a bit to overcome against that kind of team. It’s no secret we that lost the game in the first period.
On the end of the win streak:
Every time you lose the game you feel disappointed. It doesn’t matter if you’re on a streak or not or whatever the case may be. We’re not happy with the way we started off. We have to make sure that when we have home ice that that’s not going to be the case.
On the first period:
We just got outplayed. They scored a shorthanded goal, they scored an even strength goal and a power play goal. You don’t have to be too much of an expert. You see that not a whole lot of things went well.
On the team’s energy level:
It wasn’t where it needed to be. Again, we’re going home now. We have to prepare for the next one.
On what Los Angeles needs to improve on:
It’s just that we have to play better and win a few more – a lot more physical battles. We definitely got outplayed and you can’t win in this league if you are getting outplayed by that much.
