On being sent down after training camp:
Oh yeah, I mean it sucks. You don’t want to be playing in the American League. You want to be playing in the NHL. It was definitely hard. I went down there and took a little time to adjust back to hockey, I guess, and just started heating up again with not just myself but with whole team has played real well.
On Vey’s assist:
It’s no surprise to me. He has been doing that and giving me the puck in Manch. So it’s not a real surprise for me.
On being called up with Vey:
Yeah it’s good. We are roommates in the hotel and we’re pretty good friends. It makes things a lot easier. We don’t have to go out of our way to do anything. We have each other to hang out, and at the same time all the guys have been great at helping us out and going for dinner and stuff like that. They’re great making us feel real welcome.
On the Kings’ injuries:
I think they want to come back as soon as they can. So I don’t think they’re going to be taking their time, but as long as we keep winning and then get them back healthy, we will just keep rolling.
