November 7 postgame quotes: Jonathan Quick

On playing in his 300th career game:
I didn’t even know it was 300 until they announced it midway through the second. It’s another game. We got two points. We’ve got Vancouver here in two days, and that’s the focus now.

On how helpful the extended practice period was:
Obviously with the Olympic year, you kind of get running around a little bit, so you miss some days here and there with practice, and being able to get work on the details and things like that, so we had a good three practices. We were able to get a lot of work done, and we’re going to prepare for this game.

On the team’s performance:
It was the first time in a while that we didn’t have a power play goal or a penalty kill goal, so that’s a positive. That’s something to build on. At the end of the day, it’s two points. We’re going to move on, and we get Vancouver here on Saturday, and that’s the focus now.

On the satisfaction of earning a shutout as a goaltender:
Six-five, one-nothing, it’s all the same. Two points. Keep going here. We have Vancouver Saturday, and we’ll go from there.
