Definitely. There’s a rivalry there. We’re familiar with them, and we know they’re going to bring a hard game, so we’re looking forward to it.
On whether it’s good to fall back on the team’s home success against San Jose:
Absolutely. Our whole identity is to be homers, and be hard to play against. I think it’s going to be a good match tonight.
On what he knows about Thomas Hertl:
I saw he had a lot of early success with that four goal game, but we’re familiar with their whole lineup, and we’ve just got to be prepared to play ‘em all hard.
On whether the Kings and Sharks feature similar styles of play:
Yeah, I’d say they’re pretty similar identities. Both teams play hard, and both teams are going to be ready to play early on.
On the Kings-Sharks rivalry:
It’s kind of that California match-up. Every game’s hard. Every game’s intense. There’s never been an easy game against them. Like I said, both teams are ready right from the puck drop and ready to go.
On whether it’s good to have a quick turnaround with a rivalry game:
It’s good to have a quick turnaround, especially after a tough loss. It’s good to get back on the horse, and especially with San Jose, too, so it’s going to be fun. It’s going to be hard.
