October 29 postgame quotes: Dustin Brown

On two “greasy” Phoenix goals after the Kings controlled the run of play for several minutes:
They get the first goal, and then we take a penalty. If we kill that off, it definitely changes the game going into the third. That’s where guys on the ice – me, Kopi, and I’m not sure of the D – we’ve just got to find a way to get it killed.

On whether a late power play goal has the potential to provide momentum for the second game of a back-to-back:
I mean, the third period, we had a lot of shots. We’ve got to get more traffic, and I think, from a personal standpoint, it’s nice to see Stolly get a goal. Sometimes it’s just getting that one, whether it turns out to be a power play goal late in a three-nothing game, but that might be enough to spark him and get some secondary scoring going for this team.

On Ben Scrivens’ performance:
I thought he was awesome. He was our best player.
