October 21 postgame quotes: Jonathan Quick

On the 3-2 loss to Calgary:
We weren’t good enough. Our penalty killing wasn’t good enough. We took too many penalties.

On troublesome aspects of the penalty kill:
Not that it was terrible – we had some good clears. When you see six of ‘em, they’re bound to score. But they get two…bounces, one goes off Mitchie’s stick, one he’s trying to put it on net, and he ended up putting it back into the slot and they get an open net. Nothing to really pinpoint. We’ll do some homework and we’ll get better at it.

On the Calgary Flames:
They’re a good team. They’ve got speed. They’ve got some good players, a good goalie. The problem wasn’t them. The problem was us tonight. So we’ve got to be better.
