On special teams:
We definitely lost the special teams battles. Usually when that happens the outcome is not going to be very good, especially when it is by that big of a margin. We took some bad penalties, including myself, it was a stupid penalty on my part and shouldn’t have happened.
On adjustments and moving forward:
Just play our game and stick to the game plan. Our intensity has to be a little bit higher than it was tonight and (we need to) definitely show a little bit more emotion.
On particular penalty killing challenges:
I don’t know. Nothing I can say right now. We’ve got to watch video first.
On the late call assessed against him:
It doesn’t matter if it was a good or bad call. I shouldn’t have put my team in a position like that. It was a stupid penalty.
On whether he was satisfied with the team’s compete level:
No, we’ve got to be better in that department. We didn’t come in playing our game. We’ve got to do a lot better job of that.
On what “was off” in the team’s game:
I mean, everything was off. We didn’t play our game.
