-The Stars failed to record a point for only the fifth time in their last 24 visits to Staples Center.
-Five Kings had a multi-point game. Justin Williams recorded two goals and an assist, Anze Kopitar recorded three assists, Drew Doughty finished with a goal and an assist, Jake Muzzin had two assists, and Matt Greene had a goal and an assist.
-Drew Doughty’s game-winning goal was the 13th of his career, tying him with Steve Duchesne for the second most in club history.
