On the team giving up one goal in two games no goals in one game of the road trip:
It’s got to be better. So we gave up five…the other day. We’ve got stuff to work on. Obviously goaltending is a big part in the five against. We’ve got areas to clean up. We’ll continue to do that. We’ll continue to get better.
On his mask falling off twice:
I don’t know. I think a couple guys bumped into me, and one of them might have pulled it off accidentally. So I don’t know how the other one got pulled off. I think two guys kind of got tangled, and maybe someone’s stick got caught in there and ripped it off accidentally.
On when he decides to make the poke check in the shootout:
If he hesitates a little bit, you want to force him. So obviously they’re throwing their higher skilled players at you, so if you give them time, they’ll make a play. You’re just trying to kind of take away their time and space, and if they hesitate a little bit, it gives you an opportunity to try to not even let them get a shot off. Obviously that’s kind of hit or miss. If you miss that, it’s a goal pretty much every time.
