-The Kings all-time record against the Lightning fell to 9-15-3 (W-L-T) and 7-6-1 in Tampa Bay. The loss also snaped a three-game win streak against Tampa Bay.

-Jonathan Quick stopped 14-of-17 shots before being replaced by Ben Scrivens, who stopped 6-of-8. Quick had stopped 91-of-93 Lightning shots in his career prior to tonight.

-Drew Doughty registered a minus-4 for the first time in his career. He had six shot attempts blocked.

– Slava Voynov’s goal was his first of the season and second point on the year. His 25:47 of ice time led all skaters.

-Jeff Carter’s ice time of 21:21 represented his heaviest regular season usage since joining the Kings.

– The Kings won 27-of-52 faceoffs (52%). Among regular performers, Mike Richards won 4-of-10, Anze Kopitar won 9-of-19, Trevor Lewis won 6-of-9, Jarret Stoll won 4-of-7 and Jeff Carter won 4-of-6.

– The Kings and Tampa Bay were tied for hits with 24 apiece. Radko Gudas had a game-high six hits, while Kyle Clifford led the Kings with 4 hits.

-Victor Hedman recorded a game-high seven blocked shots.
