Carter on preparing for the shootout:
Billy Ranford does a great job before the game of going around and, whoever we are playing, it doesn’t matter if we are playing Anaheim, he keeps us informed and there are always videos in the morning of the goalies and what not. They give us everything we need.

Carter on the special teams play:
We did a great job on the penalty kill scoring a short-handed goal with, I don’t how much time was left, but there wasn’t much. That should probably be locked in. It was two points. We go to over time and get a four-on-three, that should be two points… That needs a little work, because that was ugly. We ended up with two points.

Carter on starting the road trip:
It’s never easy to come all the way out here.  Carolina, the Florida teams, Nashville, they are all tough games. Getting the confidence going a little bit, to start a trip is always good.
