Mark and Ace

As we’re all aware, today is the 12th anniversary of September 11, 2001.

In honor of Los Angeles Kings scouts Garnet “Ace” Bailey and Mark Bavis, who perished along with 58 other innocent people on United Airlines Flight 175 and nearly 3,000 others as part of the September 11 terrorist attacks, the Kings continue to reflect upon and support the legacies of the two men who shared an incredible passion for the sport of hockey.

To learn more about Mark and Ace, I encourage you to visit this story on the Kings website in addition to The Mark Bavis Leadership Foundation at www.markbavisleadershipfoundation.org and The Ace Bailey Children’s Foundation, at www.acebailey.org.

There were also a pair of poignant articles written by Rich Hammond of LA Kings Insider and Michael Martinez of FOXSportsWest.com on the 10-year anniversary of the attacks two years ago.
