May 18 postgame notes

-The Kings fell to 15-24 all-time in Game 3s.
-When the Kings have led a best-of-seven series two games to one, they have advanced three of six times.
-Tanner Pearson is the third player in Los Angeles Kings history to make his NHL debut in the playoffs. The other two were Mike Corbett (1968) and Brock Tredway (1982).
-Pearson recorded 5:44 of ice time over nine shifts in his NHL debut.
-Drew Doughty led all skaters with 28:39 of ice time.
-Jonathan Quick stopped 38-of-40 shots. He leads all goaltenders who have appeared in more than one playoff game with a .947 Sv%.
-The Kings won 32-of-67 faceoffs (47%). Anze Kopitar was the best performer, having won 16-of-23 draws. Jeff Carter won 2-of-11.
-Joe Thornton was San Jose’s best faceoff performer, winning 13-of-20 draws.
-Dustin Brown, Colin Fraser and Tommy Wingels finished tied with a game-high six hits. San Jose was credited with 41 hits to Los Angeles’ 34.
-Rob Scuderi was credited with six blocked shots.
-Tyler Toffoli scored his first career playoff goal and has points in two straight games.

The Kings are scheduled to report to Toyota Sports Center at 11:00 am.
