Good morning, St. Louis

If it wasn’t for the parking structure across the street from the team hotel, there would actually be a fairly good view of downtown St. Louis. The piles of dirt at center-right represent an ambitious $650 million dollar construction project called St. Louis Ballpark Village, which will occupy the lot where Busch Memorial Stadium formerly stood. An entrance to the “new” Busch Stadium lies caddy-corner to the angle of the parking structure seen here.

The Kings are scheduled to take the ice at the Scottrade Center at 2:00 pm CT. LAKI will have lots more to come throughout the day and the team’s stay in St. Louis this week.
