Good morning, Detroit

Good morning from downtown Detroit, where the Los Angeles Kings stayed hot on the heels of the early spring storm that has chilled much of the Upper Midwest and Great Lakes region. It’s a cold, wet morning in southeastern Michigan as depicted by the northeast-facing view outside of my 15th-floor window that catches a sliver of Comerica Park and Ford Field. The Kings won’t be heading over to The Joe in the morning; instead they’ll hold team meetings downstairs at the team hotel in advance of the final Western Conference game between Los Angeles and Detroit.
