Greene cleared for contact; will travel to San Jose

Matt Greene has been cleared for contact and will travel with the team to San Jose this afternoon.

He showed no ill effects jostling and battling for pucks while taking part in his first full practice with contact.

There still has been no timetable placed on Greene’s return, though it does appear that he could be available prior to the end of the regular season.

I’ll have quotes from Greene and Darryl Sutter posted shortly.
