On Robyn Regehr:
“I’ve played against him quite a bit, so I know what type of player he is. Pretty much every time we played in Calgary he was matched up against me. Very physical. A stay-at-home D-man. It’s going to help one of our young guys, maybe more offensive guys to get involved more. We just have a veteran presence back there – not that we need – but we were missing Green and Mitchie, for sure, so a guy like that is definitely welcome.”

On the overall success of the road trip:
“Seven out of 10 [points], that’s pretty good. It’s not the way we wanted to finish, but we had some strong games. We had some character wins. We didn’t play poor tonight, definitely. We created quite a bit of chances. Just didn’t finish. That’s was the key. There’s the difference.”

On whether the game was wide open:
“No, I don’t think so…Yeah, we gave up a few rush chances, but sometimes that’s going to happen to you and Quickie was back there to back us up pretty good. But again, we’ve got to give him a little support. We’ve got to help him out and finish a few chances.”
