March 28 postgame notes

-The Kings swept the season series with the Blues for the first time since 2005-06 and the second time in franchise history. Only three L.A. teams have finished a season without losing to the Blues: 1974-75 (3-0-1), 2005-06 (4-0-0) and 2012-13 (3-0-0).
-Including playoffs, the Kings have won eight straight games against the Blues.
-The Kings won back-to-back road games for the second time this season. They have not won three straight road games. The only other time L.A. won back-to-back road games was February 19 and 20 in Edmonton and Calgary.
-The Kings took 40 shots, the second-highest shot total the Blues has allowed this season. St. Louis allowed 41 shots in a 4-2 win over San Jose on March 12. The Blues allow the fewest shots against per game in the league at 24.0.
-The Kings have played 27 consecutive games without heading to overtime.
-The Kings’ successful penalty killing streak ended at 17.
-The Kings are 0-for-12 on the power play over the last four games.
-11 different players recorded points for the Kings in the win.
-Dustin Brown has goals in two straight games. He was credited with seven shots and no hits.
-Rob Scuderi, Anze Kopitar, Trevor Lewis, Slava Voynov, Jarret Stoll, Tyler Toffoli, Dwight King and Brown all have points in two straight games.
-The game statistician awarded 26 hits to St. Louis and 11 to Los Angeles. Seven hits were credited to David Backes.
-Andy McDonald was on the ice for all four Los Angeles goals.
-Mike Richards scored his first goal in eight games.
-Jeff Carter has one goal in his last 10 games.
