@What’s the frequency, Kenneth?, And the window is closing. Time for the Kings to super glue, & drill screw it shut and plywood over it.

    @Lake Forest,

Exactly! Although he is remembered for acting like a jackass quite often at Staples Center in April of 2010.

@Michael J., Him and Ryan Smyth should be partners in therapy, been around forever and have nothing to show of it.

but at least Ryan’s family is safe now

Sissy Joe doesn’t choose the fighter for his dance partner. He fought with Doughty and Toews who almost never fight.

@Mars, I just got this image in my head of Quick out at his own blue line wielding his goalie stick like a baseball bat and all the Sharks just lined up and waiting for their “Quick Hits” (pun not intended)

@Paul Armbruster (KingsNewsDaily.com), Haha with Quick’s new ‘get outta here’ attitude, and Thorton’s net presence, it could very well happen!

Jon, could you ask Sutter why toffy isn’t playing tonight? I kind of wonder how easy you bruise.

    Neil Reply:

@jet, also ask if WM is coming back…why Quick/Bernier is playing…is the defense young?? Is it time to park and ride???

@Neil, and Jon does his between period report with a fat lip, a black eye and his arm in a sling

@jet, But, Jon make sure you are current on your pymts for life and health insurance policies, first. It may also be time to beef up the coverage limits on those policies.

@Lake Forest, I just read a story on Fear the Fin. The writer predicted Sharks lose. I’m hoping for that prediction to come true.

Do you know how many consecutive games have been decided on regulation for the Kings? Have they tied franchise record yet?

    Lake Forest Reply:

@Lake Forest, shiny, i think 22 or 23 is the record, so they are getting there with 20 or so? (just an estimate)

    luc20rules Reply:

@Lake Forest, Its 22 remember from last pregame. I believe they are at 19 now. Speaking of OTs. Can’t believe the BJs sucked out a point verse Chi.

@Lake Forest, Reading that impresses on me the importance of the Kings bringing their ‘A’ game and depriving them of all hope…I hope….

Sutter certainly has no issue with declaring his number 1 goalie…….and fair message to send. But there may be a time Bernier will be needed, is his heart totally in it. Yes they are professionals, so are a lot of buisness professionals that continue to get passed over for another candidate, and do they always come to the rescue. Likely not………

Part of DS job is to ensure the team chemistry is there when it counts.
    -sticking up for team mates
-playing for the guy next to you
-make your team mates last shift motivating for your next shift
    -stick together
-share the puck, share the limelight
……..don’t gt me wrong I do think Darryl does a really good with this item but geez it has to be tough on Bernier.
Young and in his prime and cannot get a f/t gig…….oh boy

    [Reply]

    Neil Reply:

@harty, agree..Bernier is young and will get the f/t next season some where…

    [Reply]

    KC23 Reply:

@harty, That is one way of looking at it, but Bernier’s resume got a lot better and his worth is at an all time high. Perhaps the King’s want to keep his worth up there as the team goes through it’s toughest part of the schedule?
