Congrats to you and your family Kinger! Ill bet she was born at Little Company of Mary as opposed to Torrance Memorial as they have an unbelievable family birth center. My cousin recently had a baby and I got to see it first hand. Pretty Impressive I must say.

    [Reply]

    Mars Reply:

@BrokeKingsFan, I had my first at Torrance Memorial, and the last two at Lil Comany, both are excellent, little Company is setup not to feel like a hospital which was nice. But the Torrance Memorial room we had was huge. I liked both, but the wife preferred Lil Co.

    LA_1968 Reply:

@Mars, My sister was born at LCM in… 1969! Good to hear they’re doing good. While the hospital I was born at, Queen of Angels, was closed down. Hrrmmm…

    Duncanz Reply:

@LA_1968, The hospital in which I was born has now sadly (but conveniently) converted to a nursing home.

lets hope this doesnt affect his on ice performance in a negative way…I think it was Quick who had a baby and his performances suffered a bit for a while. It could have been totaly unrelated (and no one may ever know) but Im sure late nights, diapy changing, general worry and excitement etc. takes its toll. Time will tell i guess…

    [Reply]

    Lake Forest Reply:

@BrokeKingsFan, or let’s look at it as to why he’s had a slow start.

    [Reply]

    BrokeKingsFan Reply:

@Lake Forest, that very well could be…

    [Reply]

    Shiny Reply:

@BrokeKingsFan, if I recall, didn’t he take a day or two off? And at the time his daughter was born, he was still having a lot of inconsistencies in his game so maybe it was all coincidental.

    [Reply]

    jet Reply:

@BrokeKingsFan, While there is not a way to make up for the lost sleep, there is at the same time an untiring drive to give you youngens everything possible. This leads to an unsatiable drive to your best at everything you do.

@DesertKing, I have two daughters. As such, I am well acquainted with The Gap, J.Crew, Abercrombie and Fitch, American Eagle, BCBG Max Azria, Steve Madden, Nordstrom, and of course, Coach. Sadly, I know where all these stores are in the mall; don’t need a map. Oh! Almost forgot Aveda and Sephora! (The Sephora store ladies recognize me.)

@Goring 19, as a daddy’s little princess (course now I’m all growed up), I concur. Haven’t met a father that has a daughter and she isn’t the apple of his eye and his sweet little princess (until she acts up that is. Then she’s her mother’s problem)

Changing the subject (somewhat)- The former Galaxy TV play by play man (Rogo) now works for the Ducks. How about trading Moriarty to the Quacks for him? By the way, the new Galaxy PBP guy worked 12 seasons as the Quakes TV PBP man. Weird!
