Hey Jon,
Some of us are unable to listen to streaming audio at work. Damn the man! Would it be possible to get a transcript of audio recordings, if it isn’t too long. If not, it’s cool, I’ll just have to wait until I get home. =(

@tkecanuck341, Stoll basically calling him tied with Crosby as the best player in the league and how you have to play him honestly because if you cheat even a little bit he’ll take advantage immediately, that kind of thing.

@KC23, Awesome…thanks!

I will say one of the best things about PD is he was picked 171st overall.
That is amazing and always gives me hope that another guy like that does the same (whether for The Kings or not). Just like hearing that type of thing.

He looks pretty darn good to me, but if it wasn’t for what I’ve heard the players say I wouldn’t be as impressed. I can’t count the interviews I’ve heard that whenever they want to use an example of playing against the best, he’s name comes up even more than Crosbys.
I think it is because PD embarrasses more elite NHL defensemen and forwards than any other player. Crosbys more of a take advantage of the weak kind of offensive threat.

@KC23, and if you asked me who would you take if you could have a young healthy Crosby or PD … I’d take PD.

Who else can do backhand-toe-drag move better than this guy? Just don’t get mesmerized on the ice when he does that.

@goldielocks, It really is a thing of beauty. The best way to defend it is to not watch the puck but watch the hips..easier said than done. lol

good to see Gagne go. Dude never got it going while being in a Kings Uniform. To be honest he shouldn’t of had his name on the Cup. What has he ever done for our Club, Nothing I tell ya NOtHING

@King Charles of Salt Lake,
Gagne contributed offensively first half of the 2011-2012 season, and he was on the top line with Kopi. While the team was struggling to score, the guy was one of the best goal producing source. And without that fact, the Kings might not have made the playoffs. As Kopitar described, he had a calming effect in the locker room as a veteran player during the playoffs. He did not score the goal but he was a part of the team, and more importantly he wa a King. He deserves his name on the cup and the ring 100%.

@goldielocks, by NHL rules he does get his name on the cup………but com’on you really cannot beleive he was a contributor, you cannot tell Kings don’t win the cup without him.
Without Kopi, Mitchell, Brown, Quick likely not but without Simon Gagne we still win…..

@harty,
Well, the Kings barely made the playoffs remember? Without his cotribution, they might as well have been out of the playoff spot.
What’s with the orange duck tie and audio stream?

@Paul Armbruster (KingsNewsDaily.com), I’d call this a salmon and baby blue tie, thank you very much. But, yes, I do need a much better avatar.
