@Michael J., Nah, they’re just playing a very good Ducks team. There defense is vastly improved over last year. So is their goaltending. Their goalie uses the exact same style as Bernier. Very quiet, square to the shooter, movements. Few rebounds.
This game has the feel of a playoff game.

Do we really have so many reserving NHL players that we can’t find roster spots for? I don’t care what cities can support another franchise. Move a team if that’s the case. PHX or FLA. even better, contract them. Add depth to the teams and quality to the product.

He will say that the Kings only have been winning because the other teams are slumping or had some excuse for their “bad play”. He will never admit that the Kings faced one of the hottest teams and hottest goaltenders in the league, played them even in the 1st, didn’t play as well in ther 2nd but found a way to stay in the game (something that champions do), then completely dominated them in the 3rd (something else that champions do), which is why he doesn’t run a team and sits behind a desk on TV.

It took until the third period tonight before I realized that the black team are the same guys that won the Stanley Cup last spring. A dominant period of hockey and a really exciting game, but we were chasing the Ducks quite a bit in the earlier rounds. The messiness in our crease reminded me how badly our injured d-men are missed—especially Mitchell. Nevertheless, a great win and I’m relieved to see the Kings continue to increase their level of play over the last eight games.

We should feel good about this win as Kings fans…but, the Kings should have one this game…
The Kings have been playing so much better of late…the Ducks were coming off a OT win the night before…the Kings had to win this one
So, as for putting everyone on notice…I don’t know about all that…\
The Kings are a solid team…no doubt…but, every team is capable of losing to any other team at this point in the season…it’s just nice to see the effort and fortitude and will against a rival and division opponent…great game, boys…well played!

Play wise and physical wise, our team laid a beaten down on the Ducks in the 3rd. Which is tall order because the Ducks looked pretty scary up to that point. Good to see the PK come through after giving up a goal on a questionable penalty. Great team win.
