On how the team-wide defensive effort has limited the opponents’ shots on goal:
“I think we can still get better at it [in] the neutral zone, forcing them to dump the puck. But I think we’ve been doing a better job at getting quick out of the zone and putting pucks in good places so we get our forecheck going and hold on to the puck a little longer.”
On skating opposite Dustin Penner on a line centered by Jarret Stoll:
“I think me and Stoli like to skate and get in there, and when Penns in there, he’s so big, he’s so tough to knock off the puck. Me and Stoli have got to find ways to get open when he’s holding on to the puck.”
On expecting a challenge in Chicago on Sunday:
“Yeah, definitely they’ve had a great start. We’re still trying to find our game. We’ve got to keep building on what we’ve been doing and come out, and we owe ‘em one here.”
Pens needs to use some speed to break in, Lewie and Stolly need to crash the net.
Get in hard and fast, use the D to hold it in. Forget passing and clean shots, get them dirty ones.

Trevor you do alot of talking, now start crashing the net and score some goals. Getting tired of you skating up and down the ice and getting nothing done to help the Kings.
