This trade has ALREADY achieved what it was designed to do so we're so the Kings are winners regardless. If Kekalainen were to draft the next 'Gretzky' in the 2013 draft it wouldn't worry me, nor would it have any bearing whatsoever on DL's already proven genius status. If you look at the issue in this way, it's kind of as pointless as debating who's better, DD or VV. They're both great assets to the Kings in their own individual rights so why fret over comparing them? Likewise the JC/JMFJ + ? trade could well turn out to be a win/win for CBJ as well, and bless them if that happened. All I know is that with Lord Stanley in hand and a solid future on paper the Kings are already irrevocably on the positive side of the +/- ledger for executing this deal - and whatever CBJ do with their pick will not affect that fact one way or the other! @Gustavo, Whatever happens from here on wrt that pick is moot as far as the Kings and DL are concerned.
