@Mik3ysfv, I won’t credit the D with the current play of the Kings. The Forwards have picked it up big time with the forchecking. The best D right now for the Kings is a puck possessing/forechecking offense.

The trade of Jack Johnson brought us Jeff Carter and a full time Slava Voynov…..arguably the Kings two best players so far in this young season. Thanks JJ!!!

@Pili, yea i dont need to compare them …. its just everybody else seems to want to ….. so i thought id break it down …………… anyways , there should be zero worries about how drew doughty , voynov or scuderi play the game ……… they are 3 of the best in the league ……. enough said ……. we have other real problems to worry about like the 3 kids on defense , and kopis knee ……………….. now those are real problems

like years ago when hammond first banned me ….. my name was …. clippers of the nhl
because i complained about lombardi all the time ….. and then peeps would call me an idiot and then fights would ensue ………. i told hammond … they start it … im not supposed to defend myself when they call me an idiot just because i have an opinion
……………… so anyways , i was clippers of the nhl …….. i was also some other name that i dont even remember like 1 or 2 ago when i got my second computer .. but that only lasted a week before hammond banned me again for another fight i got into ………… now this is my third computer ….. and now i am phil sykes

However, let us not forget that while the Kings begin to regain their timing and conditioning……so does every other team out there.

@bbb7, the guy is good ……….. ive watched him every game and hes very big with his size and illegal shoulder pads . hardly any space …………. i dont care if hes only played 6 games ……. i can tell hillers job is gone ……. fasth is a beast ……….and he will still be a beast 106 games from now ….. im telling everybody now , the guy is real good ……….. ellerby , who knows whats going to happen there – its too early ………… but with faust , i can tell this guy is real good and here to stay ……… and im usually pretty good about noticeing these things ………..

but anyways , if im wrong , im wrong ….. but i dont think i will be on this one ………………. hes like crawford elliot and rinne – big in goal so the way to beat him is going to try and see if he has weak feet like the 3 above that i just mentioned …….. crash the net and get him scrambling around post to post ……… thats probably going to be the only consistent way to beat him ……. and the kings are doing that now offensively – crashing the net – just throwing the pucks there and creating chaos ……… so keep it up kings – thats the only way you are going to beat faust consistently

During the trend up or down, people are “streaky”. Glad to see VV getting both streaky and trending up when we need him. Not a big dman so he’s proving himself to play smart like Lidstrom.
