Behold: Scottrade Center

With a capacity of 19,150, St. Louis’ Scottrade Center is the ninth largest arena in the National Hockey League. Six jerseys hang from the rafters here – Al MacInnis (2), Bob Gassoff (3), Barclay Plager (8), Brian Sutter (11), Brett Hull (16) and Bernie Federko (24). On the second photo below, the goal to the left was the goal in which the Kings scored four times – including this world class tally – in the first period of Game 2 of the 2012 Western Conference Semifinals.

I strongly suggest muting that video at the .16 second mark so you don’t have to listen to Hayturd. Also, if you watch it closely, Kopi’s shot was going to go wide of the net. The puck ended up hitting Elliot’s left pad and deflected into the net.

After that game I knew that the Kings weren’t going to be stopped on their quest for the Cup.

@Michael J., Yeah, that was nice. Even Strader with his “What a move by Kopitar” line was great. They were both amazed by that move.

Does the Ty-D-Bowl man come out of that slot in the lower left hand corner?

The Blues need to stop the Fight and the injuries from LA Kings like no Interference hit hard on the goalie from the Kings like Bernier and Bernier will start versus the Blues

Will Clifford got back to 4th line tonight?

I’ve never liked the idea of Penner on the 4th line. Obviously, he’s not what you would call an “airquotes” energy guy. His value is creating space and little skill plays around the net, which skills are mostly wasted on the fourth line.

Maybe the idea is that Lewis and Stoll skate well enough to cover for Penner, and Penner can hang around the net to knock in some rebounds off the awkward shots by those two. Might be just crazy enough to work.

I like having more size in the lineup against the Blues. Let’s hope Penner uses it, wherever he plays.
