His value and contract are high, but his play of late has slipped badly. I'm not saying trade him for whatever you can get, but I think a lot of teams might over pay for the name. Teams like Philly, Washington, Tampa, Toronto, St.Louis, Rangers, or even San Jose have lots of depth to give the Kings back to fill some needs. When he truly grasps the concept of role model he'll be well on the way to pursuing Bourque or Lidstrom or Leetch or Zubov status. He still seems to be a young 23 sometimes, that's all. Meantime, I'll be rooting for him as much as anyone and I hope that you'll be able to stuff my words back down my throat sooner rather than later.
