Behold: Bridgestone Arena

Welcome to downtown Nashville, where Bridgestone Arena is just down the street from Jack’s BBQ, Tootsie’s Orchid Lounge, and a variety of honky-tonk bars and small live music venues. There’s certainly a bit of a party feel downtown, and I’m told it translates well into the atmosphere and in-game entertainment. Fans are trickling in off Broadway into the arena, where the Kings are set to take on the Predators at 7:00 local time. Bob Miller and Jim Fox have your call on FOX Sports West with Patrick O’Neal and Anson Carter reporting from downstairs, while Nick Nickson and Daryl Evans will bring you the radio call on KTLK AM 1150.

    Beat the ugly shot-blocking hockey. Those guys are no fun to watch.

    @goldielocks,

    Funnel funnel funnel! Jam that puck from the corner or behind the net right into the crease and hammer away! That will draw down and turn around those shot blockers and open up the shooting lanes

    The fact that DD is a spokesperson for Bridgestone, does this result in a conflcit of interest?

    @DesertKing, Question is…Do they use the Bridgestone pucks in Nashville? I could see them dropping one while we have a faceoff in the offensive zone…
