I never liked Richards on the point during the PP. I think he excels more down low with his gritty but creative smart plays....I remember Doughty and Voynov was pretty good tandem in the PP. I don't thin having four forwards fits the Kings style like other teams. Thats what happens with rookies you hope your team is resilent enough to handle it, but losing Mitchell & Greene hurts. DD is playing well, but is getting burned due to fatigue later in games. I don't know if we will have a good feel for this team until Mitchell is back and 100%. The most distressing thing for me is our PK last game. I know we won't have problems when Mitchell & Greene are back, but we need to make the playoffs we need to start improving by I would say game 10 then by game 12 we can stay put. If that doesn't happen we maybe looking at a trade, or bringing up some O prospects for scoring depth.
