Arriving in Columbus

Welcome to the Midwest, where weather exists. For the purpose of testing the video capabilities of this blog, here’s a nine second clip of the descent from the plane into the media bus following the four hour and five minute flight earlier today. Guest star: Patrick O’Neal.

Arriving in Columbus

It’s 28 degrees in Ohio’s capital this evening, a number that should rise to a balmy 34 by tomorrow afternoon. I’m looking forward to providing more audio and video clips of the road trip, as well as photos from the cities and arenas we’ll be visiting.

setoguichi can play left wing and hes in minnys doghouse ……… the dude consistently scores 20 , even on a offensively challenged minnesota team ……………. just saying he might be a good fit since we need a top 6 left winger since pens and gagne really arent working out ……………… and besides 20 is about 20 on the kings …. boths are offensiovely challenged ………… i mean its not like penner where he scored 20 and 30 on edmonton , but only 7 or whatever for the kings …… u knew it was beacuase of our different syles of play

but minny and la are the same offensively challenged teams …….. so 20 there might be 20 here

and 20 goals for a kings player is like a goldmine these days …… just saying

i think he had like 19 goals last year in minny in like only 70 games played or sometyhing like that

    just saying people

    [Reply]

    Duncanz Reply:

@phil sykes,Well, it was his first season in MIN and he scored 19 in 69 games, but he also somehow managed to rack up a horrendous -17 in the process so he wasn’t doing so well at the other end of the ice.

One plane from Columbus to Burbank..[Got lucky]…
Any way i put a jinx on them vs the Kings…
The year before I stepped on the center logo and got yelled at…[big time]..
    So [what I'm saying is]…We got this…

34 degrees is downright balmy compared to up here east of Cleveland. Of course compared to SoCal, all of Ohio sucks.

@Duncanz, It doesn’t seem like many teams play their best/hardest against the Ducks. I watch many of ducks games and the opposition doesn’t seem to have the same intensity/passion as when they play against the Kings. They don’t even put their starting goalie when against ducks.

    [Reply]

    Duncanz Reply:

@rogiesbackbrace, This is true, but if you remember, Kings were regularly making ‘backup’ goalies look like Vezina winners as recently as this time last year!
