@Gustavo, We have been horrible 5 on 3, and Kopi knew it took one for the team. I told @Puck73 as much that the 4 on 3 less players to pass on the shot. We would score and indeed we did.

@LA_1968, The scary thing is Quick was like 90% in shootouts 2 years ago. Last year is were most of his SO losses started. His SO save % dived last year to about 65%, and to make things worse Handzus a very good SO guy not resigned last year, JJ traded midseason also a good SO guy, and Stoll & Kopi have trended down in SO%. So it really is a combination of all things.

Funny how two people can watch the same game and see two totally different things. I actually thought Gagne had one of his better overall games. He handled the puck better, skated ok, and actually created a couple good chances. He had a great chance to win the game near the end if only he could have picked the corner a little better.

Quick held the other team to one goal in regulation. You’d think the defending Stanley Cup Champions could give him more than one goal in support of his efforts. It’s deja vu all over again where Quick has to pitch a shutout (sorry, this ain’t baseball) every night in hopes of getting two points.

Umm, they did last night. Problem is, they didn’t score on the many other PP chances they had.

Nolon, Carter, Clifford, DD, DD2, Martinez, Kopitar and Munzin seem to be the players who came in this season giving 100% and wanting to win. The others are having flash backs to last year and dont seem to care right now. Bring up some players from Manchester, trade some away and give Pancakes his walking papers. What a waste of 3 miiion he is.

Kopitar didn’t have a good game, and Quick did look shaky from time to time. These guys need to crash the net and move plays to the middle of the ice. The offense looks so predictable not enough movement or creativity. Its very very very very frustrating to watch. Nashville got 14 shots on goal and still won that should never ever happen.
