    @SLIM, Kings 2-0 when Gagne is in the line-up!!!

    Put him in top 6 he doesn’t fit the mold for bottom 6, Penner a big YES!!!

    Well I would say that trailing by two against the nucks and then a dazzling finish by JC in a shootout is definitely reason to celebrate. Beer please! (and thanks for an excellent job running the blog tonight LAKings.com)

    Man that stat of us not coming back from 2 goals down is so surprising. It’s been so long….and/or we basically have a goalie who doesn’t allow many goals so we’re not down by 2 very frequently.

    @Shakes, It’s usually down 2 – 0 I am sure. Just like all those 1 goal games we lost last year that were 1 – 0 haha

    Some thoughts on tonights game:

    - Carter is playing on a whole other level from last year.
    - Muzzin is showing great hockey instincts and appears more comfortable with each game.
    - Scuderi is still shaky at times but his stickwork in the defensive zone was as good as ever. He even pinched in the offensive zone a few times.
    - I love Kopi, but Carter should have had the first star over him.
    - Great fight in the team from start to finish tonight. No signs of quitting after those goals against.
    - Where will Clifford and Gagne end up next game? Cliffy played a solid game, but Simone starting to make a case why he should be in the top 6.
    - Nothing stood out about Drewiske tonight. Thats actually a good thing as it means he is playing a solid game.
    - Unless Muzzin messes the bed, he stays and Drewiske gets scratched when Mitchell comes back.

    @LomitaKingsFan,

    RE: Gagne, I would agree as I have not been impressed with him yet, but he did play a crucial role tonight in setting up our first goal. It’s a tough call to be sure.

    And I agree about Carter being first star. That one’s a no brainer.

    I know I have been posting this since we lost Handzus, JJ, etc, but we really need to add a guy that scores a 50+% in shootouts. Kopi, Brown, & Stoll really are only about 30% last year. I know Carter scored tonight not really sure what his average is.
