On the team’s first visit to Phoenix since Game 5 of the Western Conference Final last season: ” It’s just another game for us. We don’t have a win yet and that’s our focus. We’re not concerned with anything that happened in the past. We’re just focusing on two points.”
On whether there is still any animosity between the two clubs from his hit in Game 5: “I don’t know. I can’t speak on their side of things but like I said, we’re not concerned with what happened last year. With a shortened season we got to focus on getting two points every night. That’s our individual and our team focus right now. We got to start winning some games here.”
On the power play: “I think we’ve had some good chances. I think we just need to simplify and get pucks to the net and crash. When things are not going well that’s the easiest way to get out of it is throw pucks on net.”
“The golf course looks great, my swing feels good, I like my chances”

Crash?? Really? when?

we’ll see how much net crashing goes down… you know that PHO is going to take some calls. Too many passing around the perimeter and weak handles by Richards…
