Coyotes Pre-Game Quotes

This again from Sarah McLellan, Coyotes beat writer for the Arizona Republic.  To read more click here.

Coyotes Head Coach Dave Tippet: “You start to build rivalries through playoff series, and obviously they beat us in the series last year. They had a great season.  Both teams I think are looking at new seasons, how do we get our teams going right now. I just think it’ll be a very competitive game, very tightly contested game.”

Coyotes defenseman Keith Yandle: “I think it’s going to be a hard-fought game.  I think both teams are below .500, both teams desperate for wins. I think we’ve just got to focus on our game and play hard for a full 60 minutes, every shift, and just focus on ourselves. Can’t think of last year, and obviously you have the bitter taste in your mouth that you lost to these guys. You just gotta go out and play. It’s a new year. We’ve just got to work hard and prove ourselves.”

The boys just gotta keep those legs moving. Watching Sharks-Avs game right now. Biggest thing that jumps out is the puck movement especially on the PP.

@Hockey Jesus, In watching that game it leaves me wondering how we ever lost to the Avs. They look horrible.

Nowhere on this page does it tell me when tonight’s game starts. I know there are other places to get that info, but posting it on the team blog is a no brainer.
